parents put no concentration one
way or the other on a kid. He tells
them he wants a GI Joe for Xmas
or he wants to join the wrestling
team. No parent says 'we need
him to be a real boy so we'll do
nothing but encourage his boy
side'. The kid always does it on his
own.

Some years ago some loopy couple made the news for raising their kid like this. A commenter put it right saying that if the kid is a boy he is going to end up a punk to homosexual males and if a girl she will bounce from bad relationship to bad relationship of men who abuse her, either way the kid will probably have a problem with drugs.
