He was the one who originally coined "freedom fries" and was an early supporter of the Iraq war. After finding out that Government lies us into wars became a war critique. Rep. Walter Jones, Jr. turned from pro-war to an antiwar firebrand after he discovered how Administrations lie us into war. His passing yesterday is deeply mourned by all who value peace and honesty over war and deception. He was an original Board Member of the Ron Paul Institute. What kind of a man was he? We remember Walter Jones in today’s Ron Paul Liberty Report. The last official act of any government is to loot the treasury. GW |

Old crank, conspiracy theorist, radical nut Job, ran for president 8 times, one of them while he was in jail. Even William Jennings Bryan only ran for president 4 times. The phrase Only the Good Die Young, certainly applies to him. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | Wow, Pat Caddell dead at 68. I really liked him, Lib that he was. He was one of the few that said all along in 2016 that Trump had a good chance of winning because Hillary was such a poor candidate. He wrote in the NYT in 2017: People in Washington in the political establishment who think we’ll get rid of Trump and go back to normal have made a terrible miscalculation. That’s not going to happen. The paradigm shift that we went through in 2016, it’s still in motion. He would later declare that “Make America Great Again was the greatest slogan of my lifetime.” If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
