He was all over the radio on the 80's. I can't say I was a big fan, but did like Two Tickets to Paradise. I think I was going to see him in concert once, but something came up and I didn't go. If Islam is the correct religion, may he be in Paradise now. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Oooo. I was a big Cars fan in the 80's. Heartbeat City was one of the few albums I took to college my freshman year. I saw them play the LA Forum in 83 or 84. I think Ocasek was one of the least attractive musicians of his era. Way down there with Keith Richards.  However, his wife evidently didn't share my opinion, or found he had other qualities she found attractive.  Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Ric is, of course, the living embodiment of the rule that if you want to be with women who are way too hot for you, become a musician. They did stay together for over three decades, only separating in 2017. Paulina was the one who found the body. She is age 54 now.  |
