Frankie Shaw (real life age 32) acts, directs, and stars in series SMILF on Showtime. In real life she became a single mother ten years ago. In the partly biographic series she plays a single mother, Bridgette, whose baby daddy is a well meaning, but recovering alcoholic father that she is no longer attracted to.

Her first masturbation scene features fantasies about a handsome man she just met who blew her off when he found out she was a mother. Her insecurities result in an unsuccessful masturbation. Bridgette seem firmly heterosexual.

In the clip below she successfully gets off by looking at facebook photos of her baby daddy's new girlfriend.

I am struck by how fluid writers of her generation are about sexuality. I wonder what they think if they watch the 1961 film, the Children's Hour?

I'm all up to date about 'the Children's Hour' and Lillian Hellman now, I should thank you. I'm sure I will after I recover .... j.k.

the current 'Atlantic' magazine cover is below. I read some of it thinking I couldn't put it down, but I wound up skimming and putting it aside to finish later. I was surprised how predictable the issues are. Internet porn is one of the big issues, and the generation is said to quite devoted to masturbation. They don't say "more than other generations", just that the comfort level for graduating to actual sex doesn't seem to be there, although what you posted makes me wonder about young females masturbating more than in older days.

One thing that did surprise me is that young people are less comfortable "getting naked". Schools have had a trend, responding to god knows what, for arranging privacy for showering after all athletic exercises, it said, and the article blamed this in part. There was a claim that Millennials who do have sex undress privately etc. It sounded weird, maybe that's when I put the article aside.

Two more years and you qualify for
a plaque, like the ones they used
to give Mercedes owners who put
a million miles on their cars. Congrats
Ace! Celibacy these days can be a
good thing. I just posted an article
on how big business is avoiding
women at all costs. Screw them.
Figuratively speaking..

Here's what Rush says about it:

RUSH: There is a new Wall Street rule for the #MeToo era, and it is: Avoid Women at Costs. It is new policy in many Wall Street firms, avoid women at all costs.

Quote from the article:

“If men avoid working or traveling with women alone, or stop mentoring women for fear of being accused of sexual harassment,” he said, “those men are going to back out of a sexual harassment complaint and right into a sex discrimination complaint.”

Here's a tip: avoid saying something to a woman that would make you uncomfortable if you were saying it to a man .

Not sure if that works because there are tons of things I would never be uncomfortable saying to a man that might trigger a woman
