I'll never get mine tested. Every one of
these places sells your results for big
bucks to different agencies and soon
your DNA footprint is in every law
enforcement database in the world.

I don't get it. My mother is getting her's run and paying extra to see what diseases were in her line. I have no interest in either. Already have enough crap I know about wrong with me that if I get a terminal diagnosis I hope to emulate Doc Holiday or Walter White and avoid dying in bed.

Here is a clip of the $1,000,000 promise: Trump Offers $1 Million For "Pocahontas" Elizabeth Warren To Take DNA Test To Prove Indian Ancestry. I suppose Trump could argue he was joking or that she to debate him for the challenge to be official. One might argue that "it shows you're an Indian" to be majority Indian, as opposed to a small fraction, as many people are.

What do you say, should Trump pay up? Warren took the test and it showed some Indian blood.

Trump tried (and failed) to sue Bill Maher for $5 million when Maher made a similar claim about Trump proving his parents weren't orangutans. He tried to argue that Maher was serious and not joking, so I don't think he'd have much footing to stand on here by trying to pretend he was joking with Warren.

1/1024 or Whatever is not what it means to be an Indian. The law and commonsense are two different things here.

There was some kid a few years back had 1 great-great-great-great grandparent was an Indian and some tribe fought to claim the poor kid from his family. People I know who work in child services have told me if there is even a possibility of 1/1024 even less that they have to call the Feds for guidance. That is "the law."

Now lets talk commonsense. Warren's claim is silly at best and fraud at the worst. She clearly made it to gain preference under racial preference systems. Ever see "Soul Man?" That is what she did! Not as funny as the movie, but that is what she did, claim a more convenient race to get preference.

At best, the average person knows 1-2 great-grandparents. Fewer will have any connection to them. Most everyone here's great grandparents would have been born pre-1900. Take that out two generations. Talking 1850s/60s. That is great-great-great. Warren's claim goes farther back than that. 1 in 64 people in that level of her family tree?

Trump has no reason to pay, her claim is ludicrous. Worse that some guy who claims to have played on a Superbowl team when he was put on the Taxi Squad in training camp.

Do you have to be a native american to claim native american heritage or ancestry?

The issue of how much blood makes you a member of whatever tribe is quite important if that tribe has a lucrative casino.

When I'm elected president, assuming I get my way, race will never be a factor in government spending, hiring, or contracting. I don't think one's race is anyone's business, except in some medical situations.

Of course, and it's important when you
fill out your law license application
or apply to Harvard for a teaching position.
Warren knew exactly what she was doing
every step of the way. She didn't even use
real Cherokee recipes for the cookbook
she contributed to, she stole them word
for word from a high end NYC restaurant.

Well, I think asking if you qualify to be a member of a tribe and saying at least one of your ancestors was a native american are two different questions, that can have two different answers.

The "bet" was whether or not she had native american ancestry, not whether or not a native american tribe would accept her as a member, right?

For example, if some american has or had at least one Canadian grandparent, they could claim that they had Canadian ancestry. However, they could not use that as a basis for a claim of Canadian citizenship, because a hereditary claim of Canadian citizenship is only extended to people who have at least one parent who has Canadian citizenship, not their grandparents.

The "bet" was whether or not

Because it's Trump, you want to ignore
the spirit of the bet and instead nitpick
the details. He won the bet, he's not
paying.

Like I said earlier, Fauxcahontas knew
she wasn't Indian 20 years ago when we know
damn well she took the first DNA test. Why
she kept up the charade shows her egotistical
ignorance that will now bite here saggy
old ass viciously..

Mashantucket Pequot Tribe own and operate Foxwoods Resort Casino within their reservation in Ledyard, Connecticut. Tribal membership is based on proven lineal descent of 11 Pequot families whose ancestors were listed in the 1900 US Census. I don't think there is a blood percentage requirement.

I think you would have to be elected Grand Poobah "First Lord of the Treasury, Lord Chief Justice, Commander-in-Chief, Lord High Admiral ... Archbishop ... Lord Mayor" and "Lord High Everything Else" to accomplish that. I don't think the POTUS could override all the laws regarding race.
