Funding and subscriptions from Universities and Professors like most journals I would imagine....

I don't have much value in Gender or Race Studies, I think both are politicized fields. So you will have no argument from me pointing out silly articles....

As long as it is private funding I don't care the wasted money. Professors trying to impress each other. The more time they spend on it the less chance I bump into one of them at a bar and get into a discussion.

As to "fields" they are synthetic fields. If not for academia they would not exist. Sad how much money is wasted on them. I mean, a course on Black or Women in history is fine. But whole department and majors? Fugheddabaddit.

Can someone explain to me how the parties are unable to vet their electors that there were actually FIVE that did not vote for Hillary even though they were 'her' electors?

The constitution was written wherein the electors were valued individuals who would come to a consensus, but now we want them to be cyphers who can eat and drink.
The Winner Take All voting per state was not envisioned when the constitution was written,

But even the first two elections post George Washington where John Adams and Thomas Jefferson battled it out, began to foreshadow the "winner take all" of the future.

The 1824 election (the first after the founding fathers) was a real surprise and went into a contingent election.

The contingent election (one vote per state) elected John Quincy Adams who had the second highest electoral college votes.

This continent election was won by the so called "corrupt bargain" where the states that voted for Clay (3rd place) now voted for John Quincy Adams (2nd place) to make him POTUS, and clay was given the Secretary of State position.

While speaking with Govs. Ned Lamont (D-CT), Phil Murphy (D-NJ), and Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI), Biden said, “We’re in the middle of a pandemic that has cost us more than 85,000 jobs as of today. Lives of millions of people, millions of people, millions of jobs.”

So close, the old man was soooo

That is what the Dems are hoping happens in November.
