Okay, let's take a close examination here.
It sounds to me like god created the sun twice. How was there morning and night (verse 5) if god didn't create the sun until verse 16? p.s. If this garners more than a few responses, I'll split it off to a separate thread. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

To quote Evenbob, "it is silly". “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

Wow, it is not often you can get a Christian to say this bible isn't absolutely correct and inerrant in all aspects, including science and history. Catholicism is looking better and better, FrG. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Uh, maybe god created a light bulb first? Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

Jesus is the light of the world. There is the light of understanding. There's all kinds of light. Light bulbs of all sorts. God creating light on day one and plants before the sun is not a scientific problem or question. |

Oy! The stumbling block of blind faith.
So this "light of understanding" or the "light of the world" divided night and day, but not the sun. Right. Again, so glad to not be on your team. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |
