It is natural in the sense of its importance. The fact that we ignore the supernatural or pretend it doesn't exist has devastating effects in our society and on who we are as people. It is un-natural if you will to be just focused on the stuff we see and to think that stuff can make us happy or fulfilled. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

So we should go back to the days when superstition was the rule and everybody believed in vampires and witches and demons and they killed cats because cats are connected to the devil? Yeah, those were fun times for the Church, they promoted all that crap and ruled over it. Now all you have is a failing religion where nobody goes to mass or confession and every Catholic who wants to uses contraception. The supernatural was exposed as a fraud and you lost all of your power. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I'm talking about realizing that as human beings we desire more than material things. We seek to be loved and to love. This supernatural longing in us also seeks to serve and work and feel we accomplish something. We just don't feel right watching Netflix all day. Something supernatural in us longs for more. We desire to be challenged and to pursue excellence! “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

And that's the point I made when you asked about reincarnation. You said how is it not supernatural. Because if it does happen, it's a a natural part of the life/death cycle and there would be nothing supernatural about it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I meant that would be the case if it could be assumed to be true, which I don't grant by a mile. My main point being you shouldn't badger FrG endlessly about believing in something which can't be proven when you do the same thing. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

How so. I don't 'believe' in reincarnation, it's not a religion. I certainly find it interesting that reliable science is involved & has uncovered things that can't be explained and could point in certain directions. If FrG has scientific evidence that points to there being a god, he's certainly kept it to himself. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
