Did you take a 10-100 on it?

I don't know what that means.

You obviously weren't paying attention during Smokey and the Bandit.

It was 40 years ago, I haven't seen
it since. I don't even remember
what it was about, CB truckers, I think.

Most likely the billboard company will reap considerable publicity about it.

Here is a movie goof for you.

Big Enos wants "400 cases." When they load up, they show them shutting the doors, with the last 2 pallets at the very back of the truck. But 400 cases would be just 6-7 pallets. At the time, a 48' trailer (today they are 53') held 20-22 pallets. There is no way they would leave all that empty space in the front of the trailer, they would have loaded it in the back and put one of those "jam bars" across to keep it from shifting around.

Next time you think you have no life, come back and read that, and know that I noticed it.

Now you know what the term 'hollywood' can mean.

Of course the secret cargo would be hidden behind a dummy load of ordinary goods so if anyone did open up the trailer rig they would face a more daunting task to discover the contraband.

Cops know this and when "salting" a truck trailer with what appears to be valuable and easily fenced items they are made to appear readily available and the police waiting inside the trailer rig are behind a façade of fake boxes.

Even in Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul drug shipments are disguised and its one of several containers that has the contraband in it.

Its only in "Hollywooded" movies that details are omitted.

But the “secret” cargo was right at the doors.

Hollywood screws much up. I went nuts watching the new “Dallas” as I have said many times. It was worse then thethan today.

I loaded trucks at Amway for a living in
1973. 2/3 of the weight has to be in
the front half of the truck or it will not
drive right. You would never ever put
all the weight in the rear.

I know I see the flatbeds with frack sand all the time. That stuff is way heavy, and goes right between the axles. You are right, all in back and it will swing out.

You mean Scamway.
A flatbed truck that is empty is really difficult to drive. Pull out in front of one and make him hit his breaks and he will fighting that trailer instantly.
