So far pertaining to Schumer's amendments to McConnel's impeachment resolution it is:

McConnel and the republicans 2 _ _ _ _ _ Schumer and the democrats ZERO

As a bonus, not a single republican senator voted for either amendment. Also, not a single republican senator (Collins, Murkowski, Romney, Alexander) that the libbies have been hoping will flip, flipped.

Another bonus is now all the senators and the American public can see what a pompous ass pencil neck shifty Schiff is.

Wooo-hoooo winning, it is now:

McConnel and the republicans 3 _ _ _ _ _ Schumer and the democrats ZERO

Again not a single republican flipped.

He Has BEEN IMPEACHED.

What's going on is the impeachment
trial. The verification of the impeachment.
It's part of the impeachment process.
He's been impeached but it's meaningless
without a final decision from a Senate
trial. So in effect he's still in the process
of full impeachment.

Where do you get this mumbo jumbo? Clinton was acquitted, but still impeached. Doesn't matter at this point how it turns out. Trump's impeached.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

Clinton was impeached forever, then
acquitted forever. Same with Trump.
Why is the Senate trial called the
'impeachment trial' if it's not part of
the process? The House issued the
impeachment indictment, the Senate
validates it. Or not. When someone
is indicted he's not said to be indicted
'forever' if a court acquits him.

That's what Dershowitz says, but what
does he know..

The Schitt Show is so boring the
older Senators on both sides
are nodding off. There are
lots Senators in their 70's
and 80's and Schitt kept them
there till 2am last night. Most
didn't make it to bed till after
3am, 6 hours after their normal
bedtime.

Is anybody paying attention to this
crap? The major networks ratings
are so low they cut back to regular
programming. It's just a repetition
of the same Schitt Show manure we
heard for 3 months.

Once you have been indicted for a crime, you are indicted forever (unless the record is somehow removed, expunged, etc.).
Once you are convicted of a crime, you are convicted forever (same exceptions as above).
Once you are acquitted of a crime, you are acquitted forever (again, with exceptions).

I don't get why one would argue about whether or not the President has been impeached, because the same basic things as I have listed above apply to impeachment, conviction, and removal (the steps after conviction).

This is exactly what Dershowitz knows.

President Trump has been impeached. As our Dear House Speaker and leader of the attempt to remove a President from office in order to keep him for being re-elected, Nancy Pelosi and her happy botox-supported face was 100% correct when she said that President Trump has been impeached forever. There appears to be no remedy for removing the impeachment from the record in spite of shoddy work of the Democrats.

She then tried to overrun the Senate but it didn't work. A political impeachment will be handled with a political trial. Were there real substance to the charges they have forwarded, the trial would be more than political. They spent three years with their criminal identified; they just needed to find the crime. They didn't, but pressure from her caucus caused Pelosi to allow the process to proceed.

Real substance? Even without the testimony of the fact witnesses and documents that Trump is hiding from the American public, the evidence is overwhelming for what transpired here. Trump used the power of his office for his own political and personal gain. It is so obvious what happened, it feels ridiculous to debate it.

And didn't find a crime? Government Accountability Office disagrees with you. But I'm sure they're just "deep state" too.

See, in Trump world, you can just write off anything as "fake" and "deep state" and the deplorables will eat it up.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious.
