Of course they didn't, there's nothing to 'get'. If they got it, they could explain it, and they cannot. The whole point of it's invention is to make the clergy look smart and the rabble look and feel stupid. Look at FrG. "the Trinity can be explained and is understood by everyone I know." Aren't they the smart ones! And aren't we the poor dumb ones who have to look up to and respect the super smart clergy. It's all a game of 3 card Monty. They constantly shift the ball around so you never know where it is, yet they always know. Trinity is a con, and it really works. Xtions eat it up like candy, it makes them feel warm and tingly that their religion is oh so 'complicated'. lol If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

The everyone I am referring to is the 2nd graders to the nursing home. It is not only priests. Come on you know this. You know many Christians and many that despise priests (maybe that is where you get it) surely they didn't rely on the likes of me to explain it to them. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

The fact that it can only be explained with analogy shows how bogus and specious it is. Bottom line, trilogy is a lie concocted by the Church to give power and mystery to the clergy. FrG is doing it right here; everybody he knows understands and can explain the trilogy. Aren't we dumbo's that we don't 'get it'. Want some entertainment, go to a page where they try and explain it. Nobody has the same explanation, it's a huge cluster frick of hyperbole and conjecture. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Again, this isn't about priests why do you continue to make it so? Analogy is a good way to understand something. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |

It's a copout way of explaining. Is explaining flight or an atom bomb or how a car works only understood thru analogy? Of course not, we understand completely how they work. If trilogy was a real thing, analogy wouldn't be needed. As it stands, it's a concocted fairy tale that is specifically meant NOT to be understood. There have always been very smart people, and for the longest time those people turned their attention to religion because there was no science yet, no real science. Trinity is a concept that was born in very smart and conniving minds, a way to have dominion over, and control people. It worked for a long time and continues to work. You're using it here whether you realize it or not. But it's not working, there are no takers. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

SOOPOO Member since: Feb 19, 2014 Threads: 22 Posts: 4176 | FrG.... I really don't understand the 'trinity' concept either. Make believe I'm a 3rd grader who asks..... "FrG, I thought there was only one God, indivisible, but you are telling me I'm wrong? Please explain!" |

And you'll understand it even less once he splain's it.. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

A 3rd grader might best understand the Trinity by using St. Patrick's example. Think of a shamrock, it has three distinct leaves but is still one indivisible shamrock. They are all the same plant with three equal leaves. “It is with the smallest brushes that the artist paints the most exquisitely beautiful pictures.” ( |
