I don't get all uppity atheist about it, that's not where my hatred of it comes from (more friends and fam, less Amazon Prime). Also, G-pops is at the moment alive and well enough. And tomorrow I'll be bellied up to the table with him listening to all his old stories I've heard 10,000 times before, and it will be awesome. Dark Cloud not intended. This one just slipped out. Merry Xmas to all, and a Festivus for the rest of us. Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Putting her down for the night and Santa has to get busy wrapping get presents. Wake up early open presents. At that point my responsibilities are done. The next few hours are all about eating Amish food and casting a line off the dock to see whom is biting. A lazy day will be had. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

Beat me to it! A cashier at the grocery store yesterday said Merry Christmas as I was leaving. I replied "I'm Jewish," (I'm not Jewish, I just wanted to see how she'd react). She said "Well then, Happy Hanukkah!" Now I'm wondering what she would have said if I told her I was an atheist... A straight man will not go for kids. - AZDuffman |

People wishing you any kind of happiness...even if the wrong holiday for you...is a good thing. Life must suck for people who feel a need to be insulted over everything.
