In exchange for setting aside this land on his estate known as Seven Springs, Trump received a tax break of $21.1 million, according to court documents.

The size of Trump’s tax windfall was set by a 2016 appraisal that valued Seven Springs at $56.5 million — more than double the value assessed by the three Westchester county towns that each contained a piece of the property.

The valuation has now become a focal point of what could be one of the most consequential investigations facing President Trump as he heads into the election.

I think Trump will cut a deal for himself and his family. Once he loses, he won't agree to a peaceful transition of power unless he and his family gets a blanket pardon for all past crimes

Appraisals are always way under actual value. You are so easily led down the fake news path.

In recent years, conservation easements have come under greater scrutiny from the IRS, tax experts and both parties in the Senate — because of abuses by some landowners who artificially inflated the worth of the land they preserved.

BTW,

Get yourself a MAGA hat. I think Trump is going to need the money.

With the 400 million in loans coming due, I can see why Trump didn’t want his financial situation revealed. He may need to borrow from Peter to pay Paul, and Peter may be less inclined to make the loan.

Trump was on Rush's show today
for the whole 3 hours. I listened
to the first hour and was glued
to the radio. Where does a 74
year old get all that energy
from? He was funny and compelling
and has detailed knowledge of
so many subjects. He's the polar
opposite of Biden.

I remember in 15-16 I was in awe
of Trump, I couldn't look away
if he was on a show. One thing
he talked about today was The
Wall. How it's almost done and
is working better than their
highest hopes for it. Next year
is phase 2 where they'll add
another 120 miles to the 380
already done.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

Maybe Biden can count a nationally broadcast town hall as equal time. He probably wouldn't want to be on the air with rush for 3 hours.

Trump’s a con man. Congrats. You’ve been duped.

How many miles of new border wall, which is to say a wall where there previously was no wall, have been built?
