I just posted about a guy who has proof they do just that. He's Indian and got nixed at every med school he applied to. He shaved his head and went by a different first name and he got into all the schools that denied him because he now said he was black. He wrote a book about it. This kind of practice is OK with you, right? If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I'll make it easy for you. It's blatant racism for any school to deny a student entry because of his race. If they admit a black over an Asian, that's no different than a college in the south admitting whites and not blacks. There is zero difference. Qualified is qualified, race should have nothing to do with it. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

Reminds me of an old Johnny Carson monologue joke: "Somewhere is the worst doctor in the world, and tomorrow somebody has an appointment with him." That seems to be our goal now, fighting for the rights of the bottom tier of the professions. Why encourage excellence when mediocrity will do.. If you take a risk, you may lose.
