I rather like WoV and DT and could not bring myself to set the bar so low =p Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

They just gave a press conference. Trump said that they did not discuss who would pay for the wall. |

I just read a bit of it. Some of his remarks won't play well with the Trumpkins. The rest won't play well with the large Latino population who votes in the US. Perhaps the US will have an unlikely person to thank for bringing Trump down. meantime, Clinton would do well to promise to meet with Peña Nieto after she's elected. Enrique Peña Nieto (57th President of Mexico) assumed office 1 December 2012 for his single 6 year term. Obama has met with the President of Mexico five times under the North American Leaders' Summit , and he has been to Mexico three times outside of NALS. I am not sure how often Nieto has talked with him in the USA. The North American Leaders' Summit under Obama 2009 August 9–10, Mexico Guadalajara (5th NALS meeting) 2010 none 2011 November 13, United States Honolulu 2012 April 2, United States Washington 2013 none 2014 February 19, Mexico Toluca 2015 none 2015 June 29, Canada Ottawa Barack Obama other visits to Mexico 2009 April 16–17 Mexico City Met with President Calderón. 2012 June 17–19 Los Cabos Attended the G-20 Summit meeting. 2013 May 2–3 Mexico City Met with President Enrique Peña Nieto. Nieto and Hillary have already met in September 2014. Billionaire Carlos Slim’s made a contribution to the Clinton Foundation. Hillary Clinton was on hand Sept. 5 for Slim’s annual event to honor his own charity’s scholarship students. |

Meanwhile Clinton stated he has also received an invitation from Peña Nieto, and that she'd meet with him at an appropriate time. What did I say? I think I called it just right. They typically have a Republican lean, which means Clinton's lead in reality could be larger than +4. That's a five point swing towards Clinton since Rasmussen's last poll. You should apologize to the orangutan population for belittling them like that. What have they ever done to you? (I know I use the term "Orange Clown," but I really detest clowns as well <w>)

Well, when it's his signature issue that helped him defeat 15 other guys during the primary, softening on immigration might hurt a little. “A straight man will not go for kids.” - AZDuffman |

I predicted any change in stance would help little with any Hispanics, moderates and Democrats, but would hurt him with his core supporters. But he can't ignore the huge voting block of Hispanics, but he can't pander to them, but he has to, but he can't, so you see he had to get hurt some way or another. He chose the worst one.
