You have no idea how these high end manufacturing companies do business on an international stage US companies that still manufacture in the US have made huge investments abroad because its a very competitive world selling these expensive products These US companies want to remain based in the US and manufacture here and abroad but also need stay at the top of the business word Its not unusual to build a massive facility in say Pune India that is an advanced technical center for research and development employing over 2000 Indian engineers that is partnered with the R and D here in the US Its about US companies making smart international investments to insure staying at the top of the international business world Its important to let US companies have the freedom to compete against companies not headquartered in the US so US companies remain competitive.
