For anyone who was wondering, Donald Trump's child rape case goes to court on December 13.

Careful what you wish for. This particular child rape case involves convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who spent lots of time socializing with Bill Clinton. There are allegations that Bill visited Epstein's private island where the child rapes occurred.

Republicans and conservatives have also taken a keen interest in President Bill Clinton's connections to Epstein, hoping to make trouble for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's presidential bid. Press reports have noted that Bill Clinton, as well as actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker, used Epstein's private 727 to travel to Africa in 2002 for a Clinton Foundation tour of AIDS-fighting and development work. Flight logs filed in connection with another lawsuit show at least 10 journeys by Clinton on Epstein's planes.

That said, the evidence against Trump is more damning:

Quote: Vice News
In 2010, Epstein pled the Fifth when asked by a lawyer representing one of Epstein's victims about his relationship with Trump:

Q: Have you ever had a personal relationship with Donald Trump?
A. What do you mean by "personal relationship," sir?
Q. Have you socialized with him?
A. Yes, sir.
Q. Yes?
A. Yes, sir.
Q. Have you ever socialized with Donald Trump in the presence of females under the age of 18?
A: Though I'd like to answer that question, at least today I'm going to have to assert my Fifth, Sixth, and 14th Amendment rights, sir.

The Huffington Post has an article detailing why the press (including HuffPo) doesn't give much credence to the Trump child rape story.

Donald Trump Is Accused Of Raping A 13-Year-Old. Why Haven’t The Media Covered It?

Basically, because the accuser is anonymous, reporters are afraid to risk their reputation based on an anonymous accuser.

BUT - today at 3pm PST, there will be a press conference with the accuser and her lawyer. Expect more coverage.

You are mistaking being laughed at with being mad at something. Comprehension is not your strong point.

Trump should be happy though, as there's been a big shift in his chances in the last few days after the 'revelations' about emails... revelations that seem to be super thin on facts. Which is odd, considering that revelations which were much heavier on facts had less of a quick effect on the race.

I think it's mostly because everyone thinks Hillary is capable of hiding bombshells in her email server, and it's a 'fact' of the campaign, whereas Trump's behaviour is often seen in more greys (by many at least).

With all the movement in the polls and revelations by both sides over this election it has occurred to me that all this early voting is very close to having the jury make their decision before the case is over.

So suppose bombshells are dropped that can't be properly investigated a day or two before election. I don't see how that is an advantage to anyone either.

On the other hand, if people with bad info wait too long to poison the well with early voting they may not catch enough voters beforehand who already voted. To me, that forces people with bad info to show their hand early. Which is preferable in my opinion.

If voters are really concerned about crap that might come out on their candidate they should just wait until election day. Problem solved.

I saw clip of Trump tonight where he said early voters are allowed to change their vote. Does anyone know if this is true? For all states?

Seems like that would just negate the reason for early voting. If you can find the time to change it closer to election day then you didn't need to vote when you did.

Yes, it is true.

I don't have the list of states handy.

I don't think it was ever the intention of the early voting process to force someone to vote as close to election day as they possibly could.

I'm starting to worry.

If trump gets elected, things are going to get very ugly very fast.

BTW, for those indulging in Pence and Kaine fantasies, a president cannot be impeached for acts committed before the start of their term. SO if you think by voting for the Orange Man you're going to get Pence as president within a few months, you won't.

The original idea behind early voting was so that people that were unable to vote on election day through no fault of their own would not be disenfranchised.
