I was not aware that her 2012 victory was less than 1% , and that she chose not to run for re-election in 2014. She told Fox new that probes into her campaign finance and the narrow margin of victory for her election were not a part of her decision against seeking re-election. With her retirement from Congress, the ethics investigations against her were dropped.

I remember seeing this at the time, but some people suggest that this was the pivotal moment when Trump made the decision to run for POTUS.

Apparently Trump is about to walk back some aspects of his position on immigration. In other words, he's about to do the Flip-Flop.

This is simply going to hurt him more. I don't see that Hispanics will now think he's okay, not in large numbers, and many of his more bigoted supporters will be sorely disappointed (and it couldn't happen to a nastier bunch of people).

That seems about his speed. He hadn't antagonized his hard-core supporters, so he should start doing so now.

Note to future candidates: do NOT start off your campaign by throwing a large voting block under the bus. You won't like what they think of you when you try to get them to vote for you.

He's already started the walk back. He had an interview last night on Fox News where he basically praised Obama's deportation policies and said he'd do more of the same.

I think it's funny that literally his entire campaign has been based on a major lie about deporting 11 million "illegals".

And yet his supporters don't care or are too dumb to realize they've been swindled.

Most of those 11 million illegals have been here for decades. As I said before, the illegal population of immigrants in the USA probably peaked about 15-20 years ago (there are obviously only estimates, and not hard statistics). The US population is now 324.3 million. If you could magically make those 11 million people vanish, we would just bask in a more secure and more affluent America.

I find it so amusing that the same kinds of people who claim Trump is a racist will then make a video like this, and make the claims that Mexicans are there to clean the floors and do other manual labor. Shows who they really are.
