The Republiholes are very nervous about killing the filibuster rules. They realize that they won't necessarily be in power forever and that twisting the rules may come back to bite them on their big, pimply asses.

If you want to know the difference between Democrats and Republicans, it's that when the Dems were in power, they didn't devote all their efforts to snuffing out the voice of the minority party.

Yes, they did.

There are a few policy differences, but when it comes to holding power they're both as bad and as partisan.

The problem now is not that Golden Boy is pushing a Republican agenda, but that he isn't. He's pushing a nationalist, nativist agenda, tinged with white supremacy. The effing problem is that he's doing so under the GOP banner, and handing out some longed-for items wanted by the Republican base.
