EvenBob on Megyn Kelly in 2013: "Megyn Kelly gets so angry about Obamacare on her show that sometimes her eyes actually flash. Be still my heart.." And in 2010: "I love Megyn Kelly. My god she's gorgeous, and smart. I remember her sparring with the weener Anthony Weiner before he banned himself from society. She frequently tore him a new one and I bet he loved every minute of it." In 2015: "Even FoxNews is doing it now. Megyn Kelly spent her whole hour Friday talking about this major Breaking News story: Is Trump finished over this? Good grief.:" It is said that your life flashes before your eyes just before you die.... it's called Life |

EvenBob is nothing if not inconsistent. Unless, of course, you mean consistently wrong. That he manages, every time. |

I used to love her, that changed. She became shrill and shrewish over time, to the point I couldn't watch her anymore. 10 years ago I loved Sean Hannity, now his voice is fingernails on a chalkboard, I haven't seen his show in years. I see outakes on Youtube, but I look at them for his guest, not for him. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

And of course allow everyone to vote in the primaries, not just the people in your party. Bonus: the winner will be a lot less divisive and controversial than the last five presidents. Is that Hillary's backup plan for 2020 if she loses on the recount? Just wondering, darlin' |

I dunno. It's a dumb idea, in any case that removes the ability of parties to nominate their own candidates on a state by state basis. The primary system is a pretty good way of working out whose worth backing, and kicking the tires of the candidates. Just because it ended up picking people that many don't like is hardly the point... Hils will lose on the recount. The recount isn't a last gasp... it's checks and balances. With electronic voting, I think all states should do some random sampling of the paper record to check it all adds up. Areas which are out of whack with the normal trends (and there will always be some) can be checked to ensure the vote was secure... as that means democracy was enacted, and removes any conspiracy theories. It's like complaining that the EC cost Clinton the election, and it should have been awarded to winner of the popular vote. It maybe unfair, but saying it would have been a Clinton win without it is like saying the 2008 Detroit Lions would have been 1-15 rather 0-16 is 50 yard TD passes counted double. If we retcon history, there's so many changes that happen when the rules change it's hard to tell. I suspect both candidates would have had lower numbers of total votes, as voting for some of the minor parties would have been more attractive. I've been listening to Leftie after Leftie today trying to tell us Trump is wrong for helping Carrier stay in the US. Spittle flying from their frothing mouths, it my days entertainment. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
