It was basically launched as a "Get Bush" operation. Lots of liberal money dropped into it. Lots of reasons it failed but one huge one was they made affiliates take all or nothing. Frankenstein had modestly good ratings but the rest was a disaster. They did a "shoot Bush" sketch that was not clever at all and got them a SS visit.

It was not the first or last failure at a liberal radio or TV network but among the biggest and most famous.

This Carrier employee nails it on every
count. There are a dozen testimonials
like this out there, the relief of their
faces is sobering. Trump is turning into
a folk hero and he isn't even president
yet. Trump has a rally in OH at 7pm and
the 18K auditorium is standing room
only. The applause will be deafening.

I like how Limbaugh put it. Obama's answer was come to some government retraining place. Too bad that they left. Oh, well!

This is probably the business side of Trump coming out. If a customer is talking about leaving a good businessman calls or visits and asks what the problem is and how can we save you?

Hopefully this is a sign how he will operate. Especially with regulations. Regulations are often written by people who have never spent day in the real world. Look for Trump to say, "What regs are hurting you? How can we fix things and still make our objectives for both of us?" As the same time, look for liberals to say that he is "letting businesses write regulations!"
