And the Pope actually has divisions!

Actually a body guard, but they're professional soldiers.

The Pope is guarded by Swiss soldiers.

Switzerland has been neutral since the Congress of Vienna over 200 years ago. I don't think the Swiss Army has ever even deployed troops outside its borders since then, except fo the ones at the Vatican.

Oh, and Stalin famously asked in WWII "How many divisions has the Pope?"

I don't take any of it fancifully, let alone
literally. It's you Christians that take
every word as gospel truth. Think about
how silly and downright dangerous that
is. Cobbled together urban legends
and myths from a couple thousand years
ago that people take as absolute truth.
Frightening.

What is frightening is your ignorance of what Christians believe. You need to understand the nature of inspiration of Scripture and different genres that are present in the Bible. You also still ignore the fact that the Bible is by leaps and bounds the most attestted ancient text that has ever existed. Far more than any literature or history that we would never say is cobbled together legends. That you continue to spout such falsehoods that you take literally from sources that are questionable and think they are truth is really frightening.

So Christians don't believe the mom of
Jesus was a virgin?

They don't believe Jesus walked on water
and raised the dead?

The don't believe Jesus was god on earth?

They don't believe Jesus did magic tricks
like feed a huge number from a little food?

That Jesus healed the blind?

That he healed paralytic people and made them walk again?

That he turned water into wine at a wedding?

That he could change the weather?

That he rose alive from the dead and went to heaven?

That he answers prayers and will give you what you pray for?

Tell me, which of these urban legends and myths
don't almost all Christians believe are gospel
truth. My wife and her family say every one of them
happened absolutely.

Bob you said that Christians take every word as Gospel Truth. The questions you asked above are of course all true. Jesus did everything you mentioned, except He didn't do magic tricks, they were miracles. However, this is very different than you thinking every word of the Bible is to be taken literally. It also doesn't address how you can call the Bible urban legends, which they are clearly not, and accept ancient histories as true. Finally, you don't address how you can consistently fall hook, line, and sinker for any thing that is against the Church or Christianity even when it is demonstrably false.

Of course he didn't, how silly. It's odd that you
would think the most bizarre off the wall
stuff is all true, yet you don't take the rest
literally. It doesn't make any sense. If the
weird and impossible stuff is true, why
should the rest of it be doubted?

Not of the supernatural kind.
