This response excemplifies what is wrong with the world today. Everyone is so worried about being PC that the only jokes that are considered okay now are about white males, eveybody else is off limits.

What kind of reaction would you expect? Bizarre that anyone would blame the book clerk after someone comes into his store with the sole purpose of antagonising.


First fights in bars - not my thing but alcohol tends to cause these types of problems. As far as I'm aware AZ wasn't drunk.

Here I will repost what AZ posted for our enjoyment and I have to say, had I been there I would have laughed until my side split, that was funny. Paper back, hahaha. Good one.

The pertinent parts I get out of the story are[1] mussy book store, curiousity, goes in, clerk stink eyes customer, [2] customer asks if store clerk has book, relevant to the current election for POTUS on the shelf, clerk gets bent out of shape by customer and uses profanity toward now not customer. Where is the offense? How do you know he went in for the sole purpose of antagonizing the owner?

OK, switch it up a little. Guy goes into a Christian store, and asks the same question. Is someone offended, who, why? It's a book store, that is where people shop for books.

Another change up, a guy goes into a Jewish book store and asks, do you have any books on the holocaust? Should the bookstore owner be offended or lead the customer over to the section on holocaust books?

What if AZ, needs a service dog to lead him into the store? The owner don't like dogs, they are against his beliefs, but the law says the man deserves the use of his guide dog. Do you want to protect some muslim store owners sensitivity's over blind peoples needs to be guided. ? Get real.


He didn't say he went into a mosque, he said he went into a bookstore. A place of business, he didn't ask for porn or how to rape a goat, he asked if they carried a book, and when the clerk swore at him, he handled it graciously and with good humor. If you had been in business, you would know this happens many times per day, learn to roll with it.

Spin it any way you want, the sole purpose of his comment was to antagonise the clerk who was a member of a group that we know he hates. I don't even know how you could try to argue otherwise and keep a straight face. It's actually got nothing to do with the clerk being Muslim. It's to do with deliberately trying to offend a complete stranger. I mean who does that? Would you walk up to a fat guy in a buffet line and make a crack about him sending the restaurant broke?

As was said above, the world is so PC nowadays that the only jokes that can be made are against straight, white, Christian males. Some in society need to get a grip.
