According to the govmint page, full time rural carriers in W NY start at $30K a year with $43K as the top. You can reach that after a few years. It's the benefits that people stay for. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

My eventual sub, who would be "starting", and assuming I kept up my blistering work pace, would make $3,200 p/yr. I'm "starting". Would I have finished out the calendar year, I likely would have made mid $40k's. You can work twice a month, you can work 30 days a month. It all depends. "Start at" must be an average, based off wages that vary hugely. FT, the route I will be on is either $41k or $43k. But it's steady. And BENNIES. They're all high stress, low appreciated jobs and pay about the same. Roofer and oil rig worker are in there too. You actually make more than the average oil rig worker. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I want the Pacer that looks like original condition and is not the wagon. This would be perfect: At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

We had the wagon as a kid, only car my dad kept less than a year. I have herd they made a very few of a sedan at the end of the run, never found a pic. I wish I had looked harder at the Eagle that was on a lot when I was a kid, but wagons were not yet cool then. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Thanks! I'll start counting when I start feeling like I'll make it that far =p
Damn. It's a car, not a person. What was done CAN be undone. But that's a Gremlin in my pic =/ I had it all figured out, too. DRich will buy and funnel money for parts. I'll rebuild it, get it roaring. Then I will inform him the finder's fee, labor, and even the delivery is completely on me. Only caveat, the delivery requires a detour to AZ to snatch up petro and the break-in will be completed by us in the Mint 400. Almost had it, petro! Just gotta find the right sucke...err... customer ;) Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

You are thinking too small. Let's build something nicer and run it in the Baja 1000. I can probably arrange some sponsor money from Monster Energy. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |
