Just figured with your other interests, ripping and mailing media must be second nature. If you wanted to do it for some scratch, that offer is there =) Be bold and risk defeat, or be cautious and encourage it. |

Yes, I was a huge participant in audio taping shows and trading by mail Now its upload to a website or download from a website via bit torrent I still do this a ton but audio only I listen to music in my car or riding my bike or walking. I never download or rip videos of concerts therefore not a video expert. Just an audio files expert. Recording audio is easy, set up my mics on a mic stand high in the air and wander around, Somebody bumps my stand, no biggie, mics still pointed generally in the right direction. Video taping, got to constantly monitor. No wandering. If you do and somebody bumps your stuff, may ends up taping the side stage I still record live concerts but audio only. Never video. Watching a video of a concert overall is pretty boring in my opinion. Sometimes we live no particular way but our own - Grateful Dead "Eyes of the World" |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | I read that Amazon has 43% of all online sales now. Ebay, Walmart, and whatever the 3rd one is, have 33% combined. I have a buying record going back to 1999 on Amazon. I checked it the other day for the first time. There are some years I was buying 2 items a week. It's interesting looking at what I bought 19 years ago and remembering what I was into then. Just got a DVD from them yesterday and ordered an indoor/outdoor thermo. It never ends.., If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It's almost like a diary of sorts, with the books and DVD's. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

It seems that they are still not making any money off sales, it all comes from Prime fees and now Whole Foods. The stock is insanely overpriced. Things have to give. The President is a fink. |

Lots of sellers have deals like, $3.99, free shipping, buy 2 get 3rd free. So for instance I just got Jason Bourne, War of the Worlds, and DaVinci Code in the mail, free shipping, for $7.39. No way is Amazon going to top that. Books too, on Ebay. And small stuff, like meat thermometers. Cheap and free shipping. It's the shipping on Amazon that kills you, if you buy from the private sellers. Prime only gives you free shipping if you buy from Amazon. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

rxwine Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 189 Posts: 18758 | I decided I might want one of those powerful flashlights. (Why? Who knows.) So, I start checking. Lots of Amazon listings. Some store outlets I know. So, I get a few product selections to check out. Look them up on YouTube where they purchased same products. Man, what a lot of bogus claims about lumens. Buying online might be convenient, but it sure needs someone to test it. Anyway I found one locally at a Bass Pro Shop. Super bright. Stayed at $60. Inprotec 2400 lumens. To get a lot better than that, is closer to $200. No need to set things on fire. You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |
