Type the phrase "about:support" into your main entry line. The information that I get for my computer is in the quote

Post your results and see if you get the following line under "Graphics"
"Try updating your graphics driver to version 9.6 or newer."

As I am running Linux Fedora and not Windows, your output will look different

Probably a simply solution but I can't seem to find he answer. The audio on my laptop DOES play when I have headphones in but DOES NOT play I have the headphones removed (speakers). Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

EDIT: I Have Windows 10 installed.

It would seem the speakers don't work. Do you get any sound at all from them? I once had a conflict with a sound card (back in Win98 days). System sounds would play, but nothing else did. If you can't get even that, then it's likely a hardware problem. The audio-out line for the headphones is different from the speakers'.

Right click on the little speaker symbol in the tray on the bottom right.
Select Volume Mixer.
Check that the speakers aren't muted.

Otherwise, I don't have any good ideas.

Some programs automatically mute your speakers such as ads or youtube videos that do not have a sound track. It can be annoying either way.

See if hardware acceleration isn't compatible with your graphics card or driver. To find out, go to about:support and look under the Graphics section for GPU Accelerated Windows. If it says 0/1 instead of 1/1, it isn't compatible.
Hence you can uncheck Use hardware acceleration when available in Options -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing .

My readout says

GPU Accelerated Windows: 0/1 Basic (OMTC)
Supports Hardware H264 Decoding: false

But I am not using Windows or Firefox. I am using Linux Fedora version 23 and Google Chrome.

Here's a really strange question:

Can I install Windows 10 on my Assus Nexus 7 2012 Tablet?

When I "upgraded" to Android 5 "lollipop," the tablet became a doorstop. I did a hard reset and reinstall, but OTA I could only get "lollipop" installed. It improved, but it still slow, it still stops unexpectedly (sometimes while swiping down a webpage with little but text in it), it still takes a long time to be usable after being turned on, etc.

I want to try to install Android 4.4 "Kit-Kat," but the process is too dammed complex. So I wondered if 1) will it run win 10 well? and 2) How hard would it be to install it? (and 3) can I get it free?)

I know, I'll likely wind up paying someone to put Kit Kat back in it...
