I know people do things like drive a car to one place, leave it there and drive to another place, then ride back to the first car, and drive to pick up the other car. That way they don't cover the same ground twice. Or park a car at one place and the other car 25 miles away, and ride towards each other and drive the cars to a meeting place. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I remember Ace after the 10 hour run would be covered in salt which he had to wipe off, but he wanted to sit down to a cold beer and a mountain of barbecued meat. |

How do they get to the second place if they must leave their car at the first place? Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

It takes two people. What's even better is you each park at the two locations and ride towards each other and exchange keys in the middle and drive each others cars to a meeting place. I did this when I lived in CA and rode bikes, you never have to backtrack. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I've done that hiking a few times when the distance is too long to go round trip. Handy in doing the 26-mile rim to rim Grand Canyon trail. Knowledge is Good -- Emil Faber |

One of my crazy uncles (I have two) once had to get two cars to his office from about 10 km away. Instead of driving one to the office then taking a cab back, he drove one two blocks, then walked back to the other and drove that one two blocks. And he did that over and over until both cars reached his office. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |
