Couples are introduced, and they go into a soundproof box in front of an audience. Mind you the audience can neither see nor hear what is actually happening in the box, they are left to their own imagination (or boredom). Then the couple comes out of the box and talks about the sex. Why do we need this type of TV? Can't we simply have another vampire or zombie show? |

| Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 148 Posts: 25978 | I'm trying to remember a time in my life when I would watch a stupid show like this, when I was that fascinated with sex. I'm coming up with nothing. Like the movie I saw last night that was about sexual addiction. I guess there are people like that, but what a boring thing to be addicted to. So much effort involved. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

If I am the one getting laid I don't want to talk, if I am not I don't want to hear. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

The couple times in my life I went out of my way for a one night stand, I always thought, right when it was happening, all that effort for THIS? It just wasn't worth it for me. I did meet an old HS classmate about 25 years after graduation who was a sexaholic. He said it ruined his life. He was always looking for that 'special experience' and thought the next woman would be it. It was a drug to him. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I think for so many people it is about proving they can close the deal and brag about how many hook-ups they have. Others have the obsession you speak of, and they seem to be the ones who end up buying toys, checking out porn on the office computer, and having bad affairs at the office. Knew more than one who let it wreck their lives and marriages. One ended up getting sued personally along with the company and had to pay part of the settlement from his own kick. Same as people thinking TV is real it seems some people think porn movies are real, letters to Penthouse are real*. * I worked with a guy who said he was a former sales rep for Penthouse. He said while he would not comment on if the stories in the letters were true that they were all received from readers and not written in-house. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength |

Hah ha. Now there were some real tall tales in the Penthouse letters section. Some guy's baby sitter is superhot. He is a virgin and only 16. She gets the hots for him and invites her friends over. All 6 of them (they are probably cheerleaders) use him as their personal sex toy. Her hot mom catches them all in the act and scolds everyone, but eventually joins in for an orgy. Of course the kid has an big Schwanstuker (with measurments given) Oh yeah, the typical opening quote: "I never believed the Penthouse letters until this happened to me."
