That's why people are always sooooooooo
relieved to get home.

I am never happy or relieved to get home if I am travelling for leisure. Just the opposite, I hate having to leave. I also don't drive for vacations anymore, even if it is 250 miles I would rather fly.

But why would you be. No
good home cooked meals
to look forward to, just
Twinkee's in the microwave
and a Snickers bar for dessert.
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

If I had Twinikies at home I might look forward to it. Unlike you, I enjoy eating out because I get to try so many different types of foods that I would not get at home.

I had Peruvian, Russian, tried a new catfish place, Pho, Cantonese all in the last two weeks. Some I enjoyed and some I didn't but I like trying new things. A couple f years ago my wife and I decided to become a little more adventurous in our eating. That week we tried an Indian restaurant and we really like their Butter Chicken. Now the wife makes it about once a month.

Not familiar with that sensation.
But then, I know what good food
tastes like and how to make it.
99% of restaurants serve bland
overcooked faux food cooked
by people that still have pimples
on their faces. But if that's all you
eat, you probably thinks it's great.

I am guessing that you are eating at lower end restaurants if the cooks are teenagers. Eat at 4 and 5 star restaurants where they have chefs and not line cooks.

Eaten in every restaurant imaginable.
They all cook for the average persons
taste, bland and over cooked. Order
a rare steak in almost any restaurant
and I guarantee you get medium
rare to medium. They're terrified
of under cooking anything and getting
sued.

The only place I eat now, and that's only twice
a year, is a Chinese buffet. That's because
I don't cook Chinese food, too time
consuming, and they give me 50 different
choices of overcooked bland food.

EB eats where there is a Michelin Tire, not where there is a Michelin rating.
You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really?

I don't eat anywhere, gave it up
years ago. Even in Vegas I'm as
likely to make something in my
room that I know will be good,
as I am to eat bland restaurant
food.

People who eat out all the time
think that food is great because
they literally don't know any better.
Either they or their wife is a lousy
cook and anything is better to
them. Most people have no idea
what good cooking tastes like.

Like Tgiving dinner. I haven't
made the traditional dinner in
years because it's very bland
fare. I'd rather have a cranberry/
orange peel/green onion
stuffed duck than a turkey any day.
Garlic cloves and butter under
the skin. Eye rolling good.

I have been to many restaurants where you can order a Black and Bleu steak.

If that is too cooked for you just order it Bleu.

I want the small carts. I was doing a personal study on what happened to the small carts at the local Safeway store. A couple things occurred to me or seemed to? Last year when the snowbirds arrived [it is full on season now, wait until after xmas] it is near impossible to get one of the small carts. Snowbirds are generally old people that get smaller amounts.

I learned the answer from the cart sanitizer lady today.

Seems there was one place making the smaller carts, and they went out of business.

Who is up for starting a small cart manufacturing biz?
The President is a fink.
