10 days ago gas was $3.05, today it's $2.59.
What did I miss..

Changeover to winter blend most likely. This causes shortages right before.

Or just Putin fixing the midterms for the GOP.

Was out today and saw gas at 2.07
a few places. Then saw one at 1.97
and if I had false teeth they would
have went flying out of my mouth.

Dang that Trump and his energy
policies, this is his fault. What
does he think he's doing making
the transportation industry thrive.
Some places in the center of the
country, prices are in the 1.70's
and 1.80's.

"Experts attribute at least part of the recent drop to the Trump administration’s decision to soften hard-line sanctions against Iran — allowing waivers for eight countries to buy oil from Iran. Trump has been “uncharacteristically involved” in matters relating to oil, as one expert put it, and could arguably have had marginally more influence than past presidents."

CNN won't report this, of course.

Domestic production has done it. The same domestic production that Dick Cheney got screamed at by lib enviros when he said conservation was noble but would not solve the problem. Same drilling that Obama said would not work.

Heck, I never thought I would worry about oil dropping below $50! Now it means less work for myself.

Here is more of the quote

https://www.factcheck.org/2018/11/is-trump-responsible-for-falling-gasoline-prices/

"Energy experts say the decline in prices is largely motivated by market forces outside the president’s control. But experts attribute at least part of the recent drop to the Trump administration’s decision to soften hard-line sanctions against Iran — allowing waivers for eight countries to buy oil from Iran."

https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/2338450002

"Consistently high oil production globally, including in the U.S., has contributed to the decline in prices.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) recently agreed to a production cut aimed at bolstering prices. But concerns about the global economy's effect on oil demand have also contributed to declining prices."

This map says it all. Coasts are high,
middle of the country low.

1.80's in TN and KY. I remember in
Oct of 2014 it went below 3.00 for
the first time in forever and cars
were lined up down the street
to fill up for 2.99

Just came from downtown where gas at the Chevron said 2.97. I hear it is .25 cheaper in Bullhead city.
