WTF is going on with gas. Two weeks ago I paid
3.99 and today it was 3.49, that's a 50 cent drop.
And it's July, big travel month.

Holy crap are you behind the times. I don't post
on the other site anymore, except for special
occasions. This isn't one.

See if the drop sustains. It is possible that they have their channel stuffed and nowhere to store what is coming out of the refinery.

The spike came when nobody knew how far Putin is willing to go, and how likely ISIS was to disrupt supply. Now that those things seem muted the price is about where it should be*. Which viewed in constant dollars is a bit dear, but anything below $3 now would be another-glut-approaches possibly. The link below is done in constant dollars. In Europe they are sure enough making it look cheap with those prices ... but we've heard that before and it gets tiresome I guess.

*I mean considering current supply and demand.

I never understood why people accuse others of trying to run up their post count. It's not like there's any great benefit to having a lot of posts.

People just need something to complain about, I guess. *shrug*

Price of crude plummeting because of domestic production, and excess refining capacity especially around Toledo and NW Indiana.

Just saw an article that if not for fracking in the USA we would be in an oil crisis worldwide. Remember in 2008 when Nancy Pelosi said the people who said "Drill, baby, drill!" would in 1979 be yelling "BUILD SELETRIC TYPEWRITERS!" and we were told "conservation" was the only hope?

Daily I drive home passing many of the well tracts I helped do the title work for. There is no feeling like it!
