Those residential apartment units were probably all window dressing to sell the hotel condominium units. As interest rates changed "buyers" may have had remorse but mainly there probably were few buyers anyway. It was 'get Trump's name on it, convince buyers it was not going to be ALL condo hotel, there would be some full time residents, once you've sold the hotel units, you no longer need the window dressing.' |

It is unlikely that the average home burned was $6 million. Probably a bunch of cheaper homes that are close together were burned. |

It is generally the home and the land that is selling for $6 million of which it is the land that holds most of the value. Clearly the owner still has title to the land so they just need to replace the structure. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a detrrent. |

He's been trying to sell it for 8 years. He never really lived there. Says it's scary because it's so big. You look down a long hallway and think, I don't want to go down there.
