Thanks. I'm 129,836 points away right now. By my math, I would just need to create an 8192 and 4098 tile to easily pass that point. I estimate that I could get to about 700,000 before I reached a point that I couldn't pass. That would put me at 89th place. Hmmmm..........

You don't need to pay to save the game. That isn't why I like it better than the others I tried, but you mentioned not being able to save for free.
