how many masters forced their slaves to have abortions,

Why would you want a slave to
have an abortion. That kid would
have a huge dollar value that the
owner never paid for. Like the myth
that live blacks were thrown overboard
on slave ships. That's like throwing a
bag of money into the wind. Slaves
commanded high prices, in the 10's
of thousands in todays money.

"In 1850, an average slave in the American South cost the equivalent of $40,000 in today's money."
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

That is my point, the reasoning for the exemption makes no sense.
The President is a fink.

Admit it: Fox News has been right all along

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/04/15/admit-it-fox-news-has-been-right-all-along/?utm_term=.81c28ab35590

I quote part (emphasis in quote is mine)

Quote:
But for now, while partisans on the left may quibble, the fact remains that on the subject of collusion with Russia by President Trump or his campaign, Fox News was right and the others were wrong. For at least two years, MSNBC and CNN devoted hour upon hour, day after day, to promoting the narrative that Trump colluded with the Russians, and that special counsel Robert S. Mueller III was going to prove it. That turned out to be wrong.
Let's go Brandon

A German company has launched a wristband that can test drinks for date rape drugs. The Xantus Drinkcheck Band can detect the presence of Gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB), a drug that can cause drowsiness and memory problems when consumed with alcohol.

false negatives? false positives?
What happens when a drink has been tested and a handsome wealthy-looking man asks the young lady about it while his wing-man dopes the drink?

Is it any better than what happens when there is nothing to test a drink?

I wonder if drinks made with cranberry juice are popular now? Cranberries lessen the effects of "Ruffies".

I wonder why the rector has not issued any updates to his "short circuit caused a fire but alarm indicated an incorrect location for the fire".

Massive bombing campaign in Ceylon, oops Sri Lanka, by Islamic extremists clearly targeted churches and tourist-oriented hotels but most casualties are locals with only 32 tourists dead out of 207 total deaths. About 500 injured, massive disruption in commerce, internet traffic throttled with social media shut down.
