LOS ANGELES (AP) — Attorney Michael Avenatti has been charged in a 36-count federal indictment alleging he stole millions of dollars from clients, did not pay his taxes, committed bank fraud and lied in bankruptcy proceedings. https://apnews.com/13dfe6409e7249ae9c56a97ba2c690ed

And that doesn't include the thing with
Nike, that's still coming. If you read the
article, what a lowlife scumbag this guy
is. He was cheating everybody, clients,
partners, the gov't. How long did he
think he could go before it caught up
to him. Says he's innocent of all charges.
LOL
If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose.

RT news, "Russia Today" says they were the only media there to film the arrest of Julian Assange? Is that possible, are the other outlets all borrowing their filming?

Ohio Rep Heartbeat Bill Exemption For Black Women, Cites Slavery

“I consider the slave trade and how black slaves were once treated like cattle and put out to stud in order to create generations of more slaves,” she said Tuesday. “I consider the how many masters raped their slaves. I consider how many masters forced their slaves to have abortions, and I consider how many pregnant slaves self-induced abortions so that they would not contribute children they had to this slave system. … And so I ask you, with all of your values, to consider that and vote yes to this amendment.”

Without taking a position on abortion, how on earth can Democrats keep getting away with statements like this? What on the same earth does slavery have to do with abortion law today?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It is a Sound Bite aimed at those with the attention span of a gnat and no brains. The politicians spout. the media reports, the ignorant electorate reacts.

There was a lot of internet buzz over their SNL performance
Apparently they are huge, not just in Korea but a worldwide phenomenon.
They sing in Korean yet they actually sold out Citi Field in NYC

Here is the SNL performance

Unless a mouse pushed over a candle, I bet it was human error that is burning down Notre Dame Cathedral.

Sportsbooks lost big on Tiger's win.

Quote:
One sportsbook that felt it the most was William Hill U.S. in Las Vegas. In the days before the Masters, someone placed an $85,000 bet on Woods donning the green jacket. Nick Bogdanovich, the director of trading, had to call his boss to clear the bet, which was the largest golf bet in the company’s history. He got the nod, and the money was laid down at 14-1 odds.

The payout for that bet? $1.19 million. And William Hill U.S. is feeling it. Here’s part of their statement about the payout, via ESPN:
