2) there is no border security around Chicago to keep any guns out regardless of their laws

1. They have at least among the strongest gun control laws
2. Irrelevant. They have the among the most restrictive gun laws
3. And states with fewer restrictions have fewer deaths. The point is all of those gun laws and Chicago is still full of gun violence.
