I wonder why someone that wants to pay their tax bill wouldn't just convert the BC's to $$ first. If for instance the price of BC was crashing, someone could hurry and pay their taxes with them and leave the rest of the taxpayers holding the bag on a depreciating asset. Regardless it takes an employee taxpayer funded workhours, to exchange the BC's to dollars. More wasted bureaucratic dollars.

Ducey, Flake, and me don't see eye to eye on much.

Perhaps they think they'll get assets from people who wouldn't otherwise pay?

Can't think of any other reason.

They could sell their gold teeth, wedding bands, hair or blood? These people are Republicans Babs : }

What assets do you imagine they are paying taxes on, that the state wouldn't rather confiscate , than to accept crypto? I can also imagine someone paying the ransom on a Fri. afternoon on a 3 day weekend, with the coins are plummeting in value. Everybody else has to make up the difference. I couldn't believe when they sold the capitol building that was owned and is leasing it back? https://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/01/arizona-wants-buy-back-state-capitol-it-inexplicably-sold/

"Arizona’s decision to sell off its state capitol to a private real estate company was perhaps the greatest drunken eBay transaction of all time, except in this case there was no booze involved,"

Now they are letting private enterprise buy up water rights in a declining aquifer, that should go over swimmingly.

Well, Trump released a budget.

http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/politics/ct-trump-budget-20180212-story.html

Quote:
President Donald Trump unveiled a $4.4 trillion budget for next year that heralds an era of $1 trillion-plus federal deficits and — unlike the plan he released last year — never comes close to promising a balanced ledger even after 10 years.

10 year defecit: 7.2 trillion dollars.

Even with that huge deficit, there are also massive spending cuts. Cuts he promised at one point not to make.

Bernie Sanders summed it all up, emphasis added:

Quote: Bernie Sanders
The Trump budget introduced today is morally bankrupt and bad economic policy. During the campaign, Donald Trump promised that the wealthy would not get a tax break and that Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid would not be cut. But his budget does the exact opposite of what Trump pledged to the American people. Trump’s budget pays for his huge tax breaks for the rich and large corporations by slashing Medicaid by $1.3 trillion, cutting Medicare by $554 billion and slicing $10 billion from the Social Security Disability Insurance Program. This budget is nothing less than a major transfer of wealth from the middle class and working families to the top 1 percent and large corporations.

Meanwhile, at a time when the U.S. spends more on defense than the next 12 countries combined, the Trump budget calls for a massive increase in military spending paid for by cutting $57 billion in domestic spending from the bipartisan budget agreement that was signed into law just a few days ago.

This is a budget for the billionaire class, for Wall Street, for corporate CEOs, for defense contractors and for the wealthiest people in this country. It must be defeated.

Lots of programs outside of those have large cuts, too.

As for all of those tax breaks we are getting? There is another word for that: a loan. Every dollar we are getting from his tax breaks will have to be paid back, and then some, by someone.

They unveiled the official portraits of
Barry and his wife today. Who is that
in the Michelle portrait, it sure as heck
ain't her. She has the ever present scowl,
but it's some 19 year old that looks
nothing like her. And she had to approve
this first, so she thinks it's great.

One of Trump's campaign promises was about rebuilding our crumbing roads and infrastructure.

And he is commited to it. Unless congress isn't, and then he isn't.

If his plans and ideas keep getting tossed back into congress's lap, what do we need him for?

Remember his great secret plan for defeating isis in 30 days? He ordered his generals to come up with a plan in 30 days. Brilliant idea.

This seems like the same thing. His great plan for infrastructure? Tell congress to do it. (Literally, that's the extent of his involvement. "do this...") Unless they don't want to, of course. ("or not.")

Its 24/7 trump bashing everywhere. I don't want to hear the word 'memo' anymore and can't follow who is accused of what and why anyone should care if they did it or not.

When will CNN start reporting the Syrian conflict from Putin's point of view rather than Putin's Puppet point of view?
