House Intelligence Committee Votes to Release the FBI Memo

"The House Intelligence Committee voted Monday to release a classified memo to the public detailing alleged abuse by senior Justice Department and Federal Bureau of Investigations officials in their investigation of the Trump campaign."

Uh Oh..

Yeah...uh-oh indeed.

They also voted to NOT release the offsetting minority memo. This isn't partisan politics at work. Nope. Wouldn't be prudent.

Trump now has 5 days to decide whether to suppress the memo or let it go out. Gee...tough decision for him, I'm sure. Release some memo internal to lackey Nunez, written by his staffers, that cherry picks some research and interviews? Suppress any balancing or contrary documentation from the same source material? After months of trashing our national law enforcement personnel to protect his own ass?

Piece of cake.

Exactly
Releasing some truth is not the truth

Hanes and Fruit of the Loom stock
shot up today on news the memo
will probably be released. The Dems
in congress and the media will be
crapping in their briefs on a daily
basis and are sure to need new
undies in record amounts..

Yup, the Republican party has become the ministry of propoganda, party before people. The rational Republicans are retiring in droves.

The writing is on the wall. It's going to be a bloodbath from them come November.

They elected a hateful, evil man as President. And now they defend him and try to cover up for his crimes at every turn. It's almost like they didn't realize they'd eventually pay a steep price.

The left has become the anti- individual responsibility party.
The left has become the investigate the right party.
The left has become the use the mainstream media as a political tool party and has destroyed most an access to unbiased news party.
The left has always been the in favor of women's rights party (good)
The left has always been the separation of church and state party (good)
The left is the I hate Trump even when his policies prove to be good for the USA and will never admit it party.

The most serious point is that most of the media THAT PEOPLE PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT WERE UNBIASED are now so far left, so anti-Trump, so anti-establishment, that news and opinion are too intermingled. You cannot tell whether you are watching a news piece (facts) or a smear job (opinions). Of course there are examples of the same on the right (Fox), but the main "News" sites (CNN, MSNBC, etc...) are such a blend of news and opinion and they DO NOT try to keep those separate.

Come on man, you're better than that.

How many years did the right squeal about Benghazi and is still wanting to lock up Hillary 14 months after the election?
The right has most of radio through Clear Channel, Rush, Hannity, etc. People generally now get their news from the sources they want and like to build their own reality based on what they like to hear anyway.
The left (NYT, Post, etc) have not had many stories misproven. Even in Trump's "fakeys", all of the stories were retracted if incorrect. I don't see the right doing that.
The right was the I hate Obama even when his policies proved to be good for the USA and will never admit it party (still waiting for "repeal ObamaCare" to happen".

As for CNN and the watering down of news with Entertainment, completely agree. Networks started watering down their news decades ago. But Fox does the same, the Fox's viewership is much much higher than CNN's. 28 million people watch the network news shows according to the latest Nielsens. I am still waiting for a retraction from any of those three networks. Most of the breaking news stories have been WaPo and NYT, as always, and this is all due to leaks, probably from people who just can't believe what they see.

Journalism standards still do exist. Degrees matters. Reporting facts matters. And bias matters as well.

The Dems in Congress aren't saying much
because 90% of them have refused to read
it. That in itself speaks volumes. McCabe
resigned today, people who've read it say
he's up to his eyeballs is deep doo doo in
the memo.

The liberals in the USA are in denial, they cannot believe the FBI could be corrupted.

The FBI isn't corrupted. Devin Nunez is. Trump is.

Trump admin announced really late last night that despite near-unanimous, bipartisan congressional vote to sanction Russia, they just can't be bothered and won't be enforcing it.

It was like, 412-7. And 92-2. Close to those numbers, anyway.

Congress passes the laws. The administration enforces them.

Who's the corrupt party again?

Putin must've waved the pee tape under Trump's nose.
