I saw something related to this on FB last night. I'm not surprised there are racists out there who find this offensive. But I'm surprised they're posting about it so openly. Donald Trump is a one-term LOSER |

I had to laugh that there was a Internet meme that Ted Cruz was the Zodiac Killer.  You believe in an invisible god, and dismiss people who say they are trans? Really? |

Still a lot of racism here and in the world. Last night I saw a movie made a couple years ago. They were in an expensive nightclub in NYC in the mid 1930's. Tuxedo's and evening gowns. The band was white, the waiters were white, most of the customers were white. But in every scene, you could see dressed up black couples sitting beside the whites. This is utter fantasy, but you see it more and more. H-wood is rewriting history and erasing the racism. In the 30's, blacks were in the kitchen, not dining with the whites. Even in the early 60's, blacks weren't allowed in Vegas casinos. Sammy Davis Jr had to use the employee entrance and come in thru the kitchen to perform. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

I was watching a movie the other day [I think it was 'Anatomy of a Murder' (1959)] and Duke Ellington was in a scene; as I watched it, it was easy to see where the scene could be cut out. And Ellington's inclusion never had anything to do with the plot, of course; they would make sure of that. I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

Where do you think most people get their history from. Fictional movies. The thing about mixing blacks and whites in the 30's nightclubs, they do it to fool black people into thinking racism wasn't that bad. Sure it was, it was horrible. And it got even worse into the 40's and 50's when they integrated the military and pro sports. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |

People are upset about an ad. Big deal. Who really cares. I dont think Ive ever shopped there or noticed one of their ads. The President is a fink. |
