Now do a survey on cities. They won't, because they know the overwhelming majority of the gun homicides in those states, as well as all the others, are occurring in democrat run cities.

100 most dangerous cities in the US

They believe in their own corrupt data.

They won't change until they destroy all their cities.

We are seeing it now.

Anytime a city allows a million or so illegals inside their city off the books to protect against ICE, they have to increase the sanitation capacity.

That's where disease spreads.

They might even have to hire a rat crew.

If they can't afford it, like NYC can, then all can get disease.

Care to share your source in light of PotPie proving you wrong?

How about we use PotPie's numbers although his are murder rate which is much different than the rate of shooting deaths. Far less than 1/2 of all murders are by guns.

My post was on quantity not rate. Number of murders in NYC 428 (84 X 5.1) the number of murders in Columbus is 139.

I am sure that none of you lefties will bother reading the article but here is a quote. The article is from the Washington Times.

"Mr. Lott relied on FBI data for his study, using the bureau’s Supplementary Homicide Report. For states that don’t report data to the FBI or where the data is believed to be a dramatic undercount, he relied on public uniform crime reports.

Cook County in Illinois — home to Chicago — led the country with 775 reported homicides in 2020. It was followed by Los Angeles County at 691, Houston home Harris County in Texas at 537, Philadelphia at 495 and New York’s five boroughs at 465."

All but Houston are democratic cities, and I didn't look up Harris County so maybe it voted democratic.

That may be true in Canada, but in the US 73.6% of homicides are committed with firearms.

Can't go by government data, unless it's classified.

We just saw that with the leak.

Kenarman puts up a quote but he doesn't bother to provide the link.
You're supposed to take his word for it.
He quotes numbers of homicides from a County that includes Chicago - the population of Cook County is 5.173 million.
The population of Los Angeles County is 9.83 million.
The population of New York City is 8.4 million.

What do you think. Do you think they will have more homicides than Jeff Davis County in Texas population 2,300____________?

DeSantis and other pro-gun candidates should conduct rallies according to the gun laws they promote; he should let in unscreened people with concealed weapons. Isn't it more gun freedom=safety?

At least when gun-banning Democrats use armed guards at rallies, none are stupid enough to promote the idea they'd be safer if every citizen Joe-Blow had a gun on him, in law or otherwise.
