So in your view it is okay to shutdown a street by standing, sitting or lying down on it but somehow a truck makes it illegal.

It's illegal to shut down a street period.
It's immaterial to me how it's done
Arrest the offender be it lying down or sitting in the driver's seat
Wrong is wrong
Regular Joe's are trying to get to work or getting work done. Punishing regular people is wrong regardless of the subject of the protest.

But you have never once said a word against BLM protestors shutting down streets. How about the environmentalists that shutdown workers building pipelines and blocked the construction of approved infrastructure. Stopping "Regular Joe's trying to get to work"

They do. It's called Methadone.

Very few addicts want to be cured.

‘It’s F*****g Easy’: ‘Old-School Junkie’ Says San Francisco Gives ‘Free Money’ to Homeless Population

In addition to discouraging dirtbags from working for a living, guaranteed basic income also fuels the drug epidemic.

Imagine the effect of providing UBI to the entire nation.

“F*****g phone call bro… Two hundred food stamps and $620 cash a month. Forget about it. Why wouldn’t I do it? You know, it’s f*****g free money dude,” the homeless man explained. “Why would I want to pay rent? I’m not doing s**t. I’ve got a f*****g cell phone that I have Amazon Prime and Netflix on.”

WTF
I've always been against any illegal actions regarding a protest my entire life
Ive alway been for legal peaceful protesting my entire life
I've never ever supported any illegal action during a protest regardless of the cause.
I even attended a Trump rally peacefully
The wizard offered me 100 bucks to heckle Trump
I refused. I don't even believe in heckling. It's wrong. Those people didn't come to hear me, they came to hear Trump.
I've been for the 99% of BLM protests that are peaceful
Anybody protesting for BLM and breaking the law, I'm against.
Been consistent my entire life regarding supporting peaceful protesting and against anybody that breaks the law while protesting. Right wing or left wing does not matter to me when breaking the law. Arrest the offender. I don't defend a lawbreakers simply due to politics. Thats for righties. Righties can't throw righty lawbreakers under the bus because of politics. I doubt you can throw the truckers breaking the law under the bus because of politics. To me, politics is meaningless if you break the law.

Yet some people need a "study" on the effects of UBI.

Times have changed
The right used to say that their side does not break the law
Now the righties are in full throated approval of those that break the law
Why do righties now support breaking the law
Because of politics
I will never ever support breaking the law due to politics.
I will ALWAYS support regular hard working Joe's trying to get to work.
To prevent regular people from simply getting to their job totally disgusts me.
It's pretty shocking that the right has evolved into being against regular hard working people just trying to get to their jobs
Yup, times have changed

You shut down street traffic. I am now against you. Doesn't matter the cause. Its wrong.

I disagree. I was in Montana recently going up a mountain and they shut the road down as a herd of 1000's of big horn sheep crossed the road. It was not wrong.
At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent.

I've been in that situation
I was entertained. Pictue taking time
Guy on 4 wheeler herding sheep across the road
This is temporary and totally legal
It's not being forced to turn around and go another way which is wrong
Just a short wait like a funeral procession
It's not a selfish act like the Ottawa truckers shutting down factories

Interesting results from a Canadian poll last August that I had missed then.
"Abacus chair Bruce Anderson mentioned that 59 per cent of the vaccine-hesitant are women and two-thirds have post-secondary education. Further, 61 per cent would have voted to the left of the political spectrum. Thirty-five per cent would have voted Liberal, 17 per cent NDP, nine per cent Green and 25 per cent Conservative.

As Licia Corbella noted in an article in the National Post, this is “not exactly the profile of the person listening to some Pro-Trump shock jock"

New poll on the truckers protest in Canada. '45% of Canadians have sympathy for the truckers'. I expect this protest will be viewed as a tipping point by future historians.

Just because I'm too lazy to make a new post.

The link is to the key scene in the movie Network. "I am mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore" probably more relevant now then in was in 1976.
