NY is a single party state like North Korea. The politicians pass laws without debate or public hearings. Crime in NYC is up 22.5% since the law went into effect. “The NYPD says that in the first 58 days of 2020, 482 individuals who had already been arrested for committing a felony such as robbery or burglary were rearrested for committing an additional 846 crimes.” Under the new law, those criminals had to be released again. A new bill about to be passed will make every apartment in the state, a rent controlled apartment, by limiting the amount a landlord can raise rents, and require a landlord to show due cause when trying to evict a tenant. The bill effectively hands over the apartment to the tenant for life. If you leave town for a year and rent out your condo while you are away, you will not be able to get it back when you return. Another bill will impose fines on landlords who leave an apartment vacant. |

This is a rich post. Fox is actively providing a forum for candidates to speak to their audience. This is good, especially since they were not allowed a debate. The event was scheduled in advance and they went with it as planned, with the news conference on FBN for anyone who has that channel to watch, if they preferred to do that. The news conference was also moved back 30 minutes. Classic darned if you do, darned if you don't...if they had changed the Bernie deal, some would complain about that. They probably would say that Trump slid the news conference on purpose to try and get Fox to cover that instead. They carry on with the Bernie deal and then some complain about that. |

"Jones claims he tested below the 0.08 legal limit and that a "countywide dragnet" was started because of a low number of DWI arrests in Travis County. A reading of 0.08 or above is not the only factor in arresting a motorist, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. "A person is also intoxicated if impaired due to alcohol or other drugs regardless of BAC." Jones tested at 0.076 and 0.079 and failed parts of the one-leg stand and walk and turn tests, according to the affidavit." https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/10/us/alex-jones-infowars-dwi-charge/index.html |

Evenbob Member since: Oct 24, 2012 Threads: 146 Posts: 25011 | Harvey Weinstein gets 23 years. He spoke from a wheelchair saying he's innocent and was denied due process. What a scumbag. Put him in a cell with Cosby. If you take a risk, you may lose. If you never take a risk, you will always lose. |
