Complete adherence to the narrative to the point of parody ... of course who knows how they chose him. I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

| odiousgambit Member since: Oct 28, 2012 Threads: 165 Posts: 6378 | I keep saying that governments are listening to crackpots claiming that we can switch to green energy by snapping our fingers. It'd be nice for sure, even if you don't think there's a climate crisis, all you have to be is against pollution Yet I see confirmation about the crackpots growing, do you? ... so I don't hear more echoes, dispute these things >>> Ford Motor Company warns investors its electric vehicle division will lose $4.5 billion in 2023; China has commissioned another 50 GW of new coal-fired electricity generation capacity; [Brits backing] away from absurdly aggressive transition timelines amid public outcry over rising energy bills and other deprivations; The German government continuing to reactivate mothballed coal plants and facilitating new mining for coal; The Scottish government forced to admit it has facilitated the felling of 16 million trees in this century to make way for new wind farms; The Japanese government moving to reinvigorate its own coal-fired power sector; Global demand for crude oil rapidly growing and outpacing supply growth, surprising all the supposed experts; The U.S. Department of Energy forced to admit its initial estimate of consumer “savings” from converting from gas stoves to more expensive electric models was grossly overstated. https://dailycaller.com/2023/08/09/opinion-is-the-green-energy-transition-falling-off-the-rails-david-blackmon/ I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

'Man forced to ditch $115K Ford EV truck during family road trip to Chicago: ‘biggest scam of modern times’ ' it took two hours and $56 to charge his vehicle from 10% to 90%. The charge was good for another 215 miles ' |

Every EV maker is so far behind Tesla that they may never catch up. I expect eventually most of the other EV makers will be licensing technology from Tesla. At my age a Life In Prison sentence is not much of a deterrent. |

That's a good quote. Have they placed a number of fatalities on climate change yet? I disagree on being the biggest scam in modern time. It comes in about third or fourth. I'm not sure because I'd have to study along those lines. The largest scam in modern time is Covid, by far. Eventually, the facts will get out and a bunch will go to prison. Fauci might be the first. |

So we don't freeze in the future. --------------------- What Was the Little Ice Age? . . . Of course, the severity of the Little Ice Age, which lasted from the early 14th century through the mid-19th century, was not a deep freeze like the long ice ages of the ancient past. . . . https://www.britannica.com/story/what-was-the-little-ice-age ---------------------- |

'being nothing' is not something I would say but you won't like this: NASA and the UN climate programs both are suspect in terms of being compromised by politics and thus having an agenda NOAA I havent considered one way or another, hadn't heard them sound off before who knows what they mean. Are we just now catching up to the 1930s , or are those times even part of the "record" they are talking about I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |
