This *never* happens, 'dog days' are almost guaranteed to be the thing instead at this very time we actually may find we could turn on the heat in the morning, though probably won't as a matter of 'that just ain't right' and it will warm up to at least mid-70s during the day [but not supposed to get to 80]. I'm not complaining. The way we live, seldom using AC, if it's cool at night, life is good even if it's hot during the day. By the last week of August, normally, it's almost always cooled off at night. We are getting close! where I am it's very consistently about 5 degrees cooler than, say, the northern VA area around DC where we lived previously all this is a good example of anecdotal local weather that means nothing for the topic of climate change, except as we want to emphasize it I'm Still Standing, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah [it's an old guy chant for me] |

In this one she really lets the journalists have it! but that is just to start out, she has no use for 'deniers' either* as you will see. It can mean you're not actually following science in your reasoning against something or even for something. Such as suggesting bleach for covid.
