Climate Change -- conspiracy theory or is it time we all drive a Prius?

I have no idea why people care about climate change. Adapt or die, who cares?

I hate usage of 'deny' or 'denier' in climate change since this is a usage that comes from 'holocaust denier' ... it is really a damnable insult. It's a way of getting off on the wrong foot with me, and it shows who you are getting your information from too ... people who are so unhinged on the topic they resort to that, and you are picking it up listening to them.

I don't see much reliable information coming from those kinds of sources, who are prone to the most unscientific methods imaginable, like promoting that which supports their ideas and discarding that which does not. Perhaps I can suggest Bjorn Lomborg to you, a person who says human-caused climate change evidence is good but who rejects panic completely. He does a good job of explaining how panic can make things worse. These over-reaction fears are being played out now in Sri Lanka and in Europe as governments are listening to the panic-mongers and making very bad decisions about hastening to green energy while not prioritizing energy security first. It's begun to happen in the US too ... but it seems you too are wringing your hands over hot weather, some of it setting records, I know, while supporting ideas that are going to do little anyway, it seems. Read Lomborg.

But I will, I want people to realize how futile it is. I don't believe anything we will do today will save many people that are alive today, and being a nihilist why would I care about future generations.

There would only be a human solution if the primary mover of climate warming is human which of course not true. But I know you belong to the sky is falling religion and I will not be able to make you actually think, but your faith in your religion is admirable.

I'm a creation theory denier. non-believer? How about climate warming skeptic? What are you supposed to call someone who rejects something? A rejector?

Faith is all you have left on a raft at sea. I think you need to clarify what exactly religion or faith is before you go calling anything religion. Lots of things have more predictability than religion.
