Uh, the guess was the age of the Padre.

I'm 44. I think I have you by a few years but guessed you were older based on your job and general intelligence in your posts.

I know, I was agreeing with you on his age. I've known your age forever =)

I think FrG is like Scot, the "Fighting Young Priest" of 70's Doonesbury, and in his early 30's. Kind of a rock star in his parish, I bet. Buff and a great smile, lots of energy. About 5'9", trim, dark-haired, probably a beard.

Sorry, the wording confused me.

FrG is obviously a young priest because the ones
over 45 are worn out on getting the message
to the people. They're tired and bored and
disillusioned. FrG obviously hasn't reached that
point yet.

It's when he gets exasperated. He still has that fire. The fire that only comes with youth.

If he says he's 45 and still doing powerlifting, I'm gonna get real pissed as I at 33 couldn't get out of bed until noon today because I hurt so damn bad -_-

Reasons I am glad I'm a guy #63: It is and you take it as a compliment when people say they thought you were older than you are.

Where are all these pictures of everyone? Did I put one there? Hell, I might have, probably did. But I'm reading this thread thinking, when did I ever meet Face?

Most older priests have a flock to tend, with a lot of lives they feel responsible for. Of the ones I know, I don't sense any disillusionment. A lot of overwork, mostly. It used to be several priests per parish, now most have one priest plus a lay deacon.
