Mr. Pew: Serious question. Need advice.

My hosts the other night each reminded me that I am not mentioned in their wills or their life insurance policies.

Should I in fact be concerned about my culinary skills. You may of course respond in a humorous manner but please respond truthfully as I am very much perplexed.

Are you suggesting that you've made non serious posts? Well back to the question at hand. Simmer NOT boil for about two and a half hours then stick a fork in it. It's done.

That is utterly ridiculous, you neither simmer nor boil meatloaf, you bake it.

Oh sorry, my bad, I thought you were cooking your hosts. (I assume they are family.)

Here's how a recipe looks when I first write it down:

Chicken (flat)
Onions (rings)
Garlic
Carrots (sticks)
Peas??
-Potatoes?
-Ham (cubed)
Cinnamon
-Cottage
Paprika
PB (make)
-Tomato puree
Bouillon cube?

It's perfectly clear to me. The dash(-) to the left indicates the stuff I don't have on hand and must get from the grocery store. PB is peanut butter. The question marks mean I'm not sure about adding that ingredient.

I am starting to have serious doubts, you seem to be toying with me and mocking my culinary abilities set.

Why would I be cooking my hosts? I am not a cannibal. Viruses and parasites are too easily transmitted between members of the same species. That is the primary reason to never eat humans.

Family? Family? Moi? How on earth could anyone with my social skills deficits ever have a family? What woman would ever want a man who is constantly told by the stick to move downwind. What woman would want a man who is a mendicant?

Edited to remove double post.

No, just friends who from time to time need a dog sitter or brat picker-upper.

That's why you cook them thoroughly, simmering slowly to maintain plumpness. If you're not getting anything out of them what good are they anyway? What's a mendicant?
