I hope she doesn't get the nod as notwithstanding her having "paid her dues" politically I simply think she isn't smart enough, clever enough, or otherwise equipped to be a good leader.

She was silent and ineffective under the snoozing gaze of Joe Biden: that was a vacuum which she should have tried to fill by being more proactive.

Whatever, I'd never vote for her...but then I always vote Libertarian, no matter who the major parties are offering up.

Her and I have the exact same number of votes in Democrat primaries.

You are aware that Harris would be running against Vance or Rubio or DeSantis or etc…. Not Trump. Harris already proved she couldn’t beat Trump despite him theoretically being the worst candidate in history.

He tried to hire good people Trump 1 and they pretty much resigned after Jan 6
He hired the dumbest people he could find for Trump 2 to stay in power
There isn't a single person in his cabinet that will demand he step down
They will all back him for a 3rd term
He will declare a national emergency due to Dems winning and deny them power
Whoever controls the military stays in power in Russia and China

It hadn't occurred to me that trump could pull that stunt again ( if all his other stunts fail)

Help me to understand. If vance is VP at the time of certification and he's also the GOP nominee and potential President, does he get to certify his own electoral college votes?

Worst candidate in history shows to be one of the worst Presidents in history. And don[t underestimate the racism and sexism of the American voter. Not anymore.

Vance or Rubio going to have to run on those coattails. And until Donny says "I'm not running and actually doesn't run and actually tells all the voters and all the delegates to not vote for him, don't believe he won't try and keep power.

We had choices last time. The Dems chose Biden. Then he dropped out after the primaries were over but before the convention. So they chose Harris as next man up. Just like the law allows.
