The checks and balances only work if they actually are used.

Your secret admiration of Donny and his Presidency shows.

Your delirium shows.

I’ve been consistent.

You confuse ‘admiration’ with just being happy we are not subject to a Democrat President.

As an American, we can comment on any topic Vietnam, the first Gulf War, 9-11, the Afghanistan Invasion, the Iraqi Invasion, the killing of Bin Laden or the Iran Not-A-War as we see fit. That's our freedom of speech, whether we are veterans or not. Anyone who ever told me to keep my mouth shut about those topics was told to f&kc off if they don't like it.

I admit to not keeping up with Barron Trump, so I certainly missed any and all posts he made about Iran. Doesn't he avoid social media? Can you please reference any of his posts in support of attacking Iran?

Barron didn't make his grandfather's decision to not enlist. He didn't make his father's decision to not enlist. He didn't make the decision for any of his uncles or aunts or cousins or whomever to not enlist. He is not more responsible or answerable for the actions of those who came before him than you or I or SooPoo or anyone else was responsible for the actions of our ancestors. We do not visit the sins of a father on their sons. And not enlisting is not a sin.

Again, we are not fighting a theater sized conflict. We are not facing a threatened or actual invasion of our homeland. US Interests here or abroad are not under attack. His enlistment or officer commission is not necessary for our national security, as welcomed as it may be. Furthermore, right now, including the reserves, only 0.5% of the US population wears a uniform, less than that for 18-24 year olds. Gonna publicly call every other 18 to 24 years old male in the US a coward for not enlisting?

if we valued military service that highly, we would have reelected GHWB in 1992, elected Bob DOle in 1996, elected Al Gore in 2000, John Kerry in 2004 and McCain in 2008. Indeed, the GOP showed how little they valued honorable service with their Swift Boat attacks on Kerry in 2004. Screw them and their Potemkin patriotism.

As well, he is too tall for military service. There aren't uniforms that fit him. There isn't safety equipment that fits him. He may not be able to effectively fit in a vehicle, or tank or helicopter.

Leave the kid(s) alone.

If this guy can wear a dress uniform under strict circumstances (tomb guards are very strictly regimented,) I am sure Baron Trump can be issued a uniform that fits... He is not too tall, you are eating up the GOP talking points.

The GOP has been focusing on kids and family of Democrats for my whole adult life, that cuts both ways. If you want to invade a country, you should join the military.
