As things stand tight now, there is no reason for the US or any other nuclear power to use a nuke on Iran.

If US used a nuke, I think Russia would be inclined to think they get away with one without fear of an actual nuclear exchange.

I agree 100%. My point was that he basically said that under no circumstance would Iran give up the fight. My point was that if every American nuke was used on Iran I don't believe they would continue the conflict. In other words, I believe there are scenarios where they would give up.

If Russia used a nuke in Ukraine, do you think any other country would respond militarily to Russia. I think almost every country would spew rhetoric but would not confront Russia with military force.

Trump has approved an invasion of Kharg island and other undisclosed oil facilities for being seized by ground forces.

I don't like this at all, even if things go smoothly, there will be U.S. casualties, there is zero possibility these islands will be invaded and occupied with no resistance. It also wouldn't surprise me if Iran has filled Kharg island with traps, since we have been talking about doing this openly for months now...

If Trump was smart, this is all a ploy, and the ground invasion will start at the other end of the country, with the 82nd Airborne in Israel setting up out of there. But, this is giving him way too much credit.
